We’re thrilled to introduce a FREE JK-1 Lending Library for Davisville Families.
Our School Council, in partnership with the Parent and Caregiver Community Engagement Office (PCCEO), has been awarded a 2025–2026 School Council Innovation Grant (SCIG) to support our family engagement project, "Play, Learn, Connect – Family Math & Literacy Adventure."
As part of this initiative, we have created a collection of engaging resources and established a Family Learning Kit Lending Library for families to borrow and enjoy at home. Each kit is filled with hands-on games, activities, and learning materials designed to support the development of early literacy and numeracy skills through play. To help families make the most of the resources, an accompanying Activity Guide provides simple instructions, game ideas, and suggestions for meaningful learning experiences that can be easily incorporated into everyday family routine.

Welcome to the Family Learning Kits!
An Activity Guide has been created to accompany the resources in our Lending Library.
Children learn best when learning feels like play. The fun, simple activities in this guide are designed to help families build early literacy, numeracy, problem-solving, and fine motor skills through engaging, hands-on experiences at home.
There is no right or wrong way to explore these activities—follow your child's interests, ask questions, and enjoy learning together. Most importantly, have fun, connect, and celebrate the joy of learning as a family!
